We want you to love your purchase from House of Dudley.
If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.
Change-of-mind returns

Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery.

Items must be unused, in original packaging, and include proof of purchase.

Return shipping is paid by the customer for change-of-mind returns.

Return by mail or in-store at: 29 Glen Osmond Rd, Eastwood SA 5063.

Exclusions: custom orders, gift cards, personal care items, and items marked Final Sale.
Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items

If an item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we’ll cover return shipping ( if requested ) and provide a replacement or refund in line with the Australian Consumer Law.

Email hello@houseofdudley.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos.
How to start a return
- Email us at hello@houseofdudley.com with your order # number and reason We’ll reply with instructions (and a prepaid label where applicable).
OR
- Visit us in store.( bring the item and proof of purchase to 29 Glen Osmond Road Eastwood. We’ll process on the spot if eligible.
Once received and inspected, refunds go to the original payment method (allow 3–5 business days after processing). Exchanges can be arranged subject to stock.
Category-specific rules
Candles & fragrance

Must be unburned/unused, with dust cover/packaging intact. Natural wax can show minor surface variations; this isn’t a fault. Broken glass or leakage on arrival is covered—send photos within 48 hours.
Soft furnishings & linen (throws, blankets, cushions, pillowcases, etc.)

Unused and unwashed with original tags/packaging. For hygiene, we can’t accept items with signs of use, odour, pet hair, or makeup.
Baby & kids (blankets, bibs, comforters, books)

Must be unused and in sealed or original packaging where applicable. For safety/hygiene, used items can’t be returned unless faulty.
Drinkware & tableware (incl. acrylic range)

Unused, labels/stickers intact. Acrylic can show light micro-marks with normal use; this is not a defect. Hand-wash only; heat/abrasion damage isn’t covered.
Vases, ceramics, glass & fragile décor

Inspect on delivery; report any breakage within 48 hours with photos. Keep packaging until we resolve the claim.
Garden pots / bulky or heavy items

Eligible if unused and in original packaging. Please re-pack securely; damage caused by inadequate re-packaging isn’t covered. (Optional: you may add a re-stocking fee here—left out by default.)
Wellness & personal-care

For hygiene, unopened/sealed items only unless faulty.
Gift cards & custom/bespoke orders

Not returnable unless required by law.
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product has a major problem, you can choose a refund or replacement. For minor problems, we’ll repair, replace, or refund within a reasonable time.
Exchanges & store credit

We’re happy to exchange like-for-like or issue store credit on eligible change-of-mind returns.
SUMMARY
New/unused items can be returned within 30 days of delivery.
Return methods: in store or by mail.
Change-of-mind: the customer arranges and pays return postage.
Faulty/incorrect items: we’ll provide a prepaid label and cover return shipping.
Refunds are processed within 5 business days after we receive and inspect your return.
Exchanges are available, subject to stock.
